The adventure that Llyod and Harry go on across the country is nonstop laughs.  Midway through their journey they accidently open the briefcase and realize that it is full of cash.  Since they don’t have any money with them they decide it would be alright if they just borrow a few dollars with the promise to pay it back.  They only buy the necessities like new sports cars and expensive ski equipment.  There is even a scene where they are using cash to blow their noses during a sad commercial on television.

The two arrive in Aspen, find Mary and return the briefcase with the few remaining dollars.  The ending of the film leaves a little to be desired but I won’t spoil it for those who haven’t seen it.

Dumb & Dumber is one of the funniest movies ever made.  Let me preface this by saying since the word dumb is in the title twice you should expect plenty of dumb.  Not only is the movie well written the comedy team of Carrey and Daniels is absolutely amazing.  Dumb & Dumber was the first big hit by the Farrelly Brothers who went on to create some great movies like There’s Something About Mary, Shallow Hal and Stuck on You.

Life couldn’t be simpler for Llyod Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels).  Llyod drives his limo everyday and Harry works as a mobile pet groomer but their earnings barely pay the bills.  When Llyod lands a job driving Mary Swanson (Lauren Holly) to the airport, suddenly Llyod and Harry’s life changes.  Llyod is taken by Mary’s beauty as he falls in love with her on their short drive to the airport.  Llyod drops Mary off and just as he is about to leave he notices that Mary left her briefcase on the floor of the airport.  Not wanting anything to happen to the briefcase of his new love, Llyod rushes into the airport and grabs the briefcase so that he can return it and see Mary one more time.

Llyod returns with the briefcase to his apartment and begs Harry to accompany him on a cross country trip to Aspen to return the briefcase.  Skeptical at first, Harry eventually agrees to go with Llyod because he sees how important this is to him.  The two set out on their journey across the country to Aspen with no knowledge that the intended recipients of the briefcase are tracking them down to get it back.

The adventure that Llyod and Harry go on across the country is nonstop laughs.  Midway through their journey they accidently open the briefcase and realize that it is full of cash.  Since they don’t have any money with them they decide it would be alright if they just borrow a few dollars with the promise to pay it back.  They only buy the necessities like new sports cars and expensive ski equipment.  There is even a scene where they are using cash to blow their noses during a sad commercial on television.

The two arrive in Aspen, find Mary and return the briefcase with the few remaining dollars.  The ending of the film leaves a little to be desired but I won’t spoil it for those who haven’t seen it.

Movie Review

Dumb & Dumber is one of the funniest movies ever made.  Let me preface this by saying since the word dumb is in the title twice you should expect plenty of dumb.  Not only is the movie well written the comedy team of Carrey and Daniels is absolutely amazing.  Dumb & Dumber was the first big hit by the Farrelly Brothers who went on to create some great movies like There’s Something About Mary, Shallow Hal and Stuck on You.  

Jim Carrey’s career would be set in 1994 when the movie was released as it was also the release year entertainment hit Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.  It marked the best year of Carrey’s career.  With over thirty films to his name, Jim Carrey movies continue to make audiences laugh, cry and demand more.    Dumb & Dumber is quite possibly one of the funniest movies ever filmed starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels.  The writing and acting make this film a must see if you are in the mood for some laughs.  If you want to know more about the film check out the movie review and synopsis below.

I have read a lot of reviews about movies so called flap. These movies include those that receive negative reviews and those that have low income returns. Based from the negative things I have heard about them, I become more interested in finding out what really made them win those bad criticisms. Here are the flap movies I have watched:

Sahara

This movie is considered as one of the biggest financial failures in the history of Hollywood movies. Its box-office sales actually reached more than 0 million, which is actually the most intriguing part of it being a flap. Well, let’s say this amount is great but the expense of this entire movie is far greater than this. Knowing Matthew McConaughey and Penelope Cruz to star this movie, it was actually a worth watching movie.

Motherhood

This is a 2009 movie starred by one of my favorite artists Uma Thurman. Though she won Best Actress Award at the Boston Film Festival for her performance, this movie was considered as the second worst flop movies in British cinematic history. Well, who would not think of it that way when their gross sale on its opening night is only £9.

All About Steve

A classic American comedy movie starred by an A-lister Sandra Bullock, I thought it would be speared from being called one of the worst movies. But yes, many critics considered it as a “forgettable” movie. Not only that, it received nominations such as Worst Pictures, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay and Worst Screen Couple. And not to mention Sandra Bullock took home the Worst Actress Award for this movie. Isn’t interesting?

Gigli

Starred by two calibers of Hollywood Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, no way this is a flap movie. But really, yes way. It happened. I did not know exactly why. So, I watched it and I got what critics meant. I was simply bored with it. But of course it is not an objective basis. It’s unfair just to rely on my own perception. Knowing it as the number one in the Bottom Rated Movies of All Time by Yahoo! Movies and winning the grand slam of Razzie Awards, no wonder it is indeed a flap movie. Still, it got my curiosity to watch it.

The Adventure of Pluto Nash

No question Eddie Murphy is a funny guy. But this supposed-to-be a funny movie is not funny at all. It spent a hundred million dollars in production including its insignificant numerous numbers of revisions but then it only grossed 7 million dollars. Very not funny.

Catwoman

Halle Berry as Storm in X-Men is a phenomenon, but Halle Berry as Catwoman is a destruction. I don’t mean that really. But it is certainly one of the worst movies I have watched and in Hollywood as well. Just like Sandra Bullock, she also won the Worst Actress Award for this movie. But unlike Sandra Bullock who accepted the award with elegance and pride, Halle Berry frankly said in an interview “I want to thank Warner Brothers for putting me in a piece of shit, God-awful movie…” Wow, interesting shit to watch then.

Toy story 3 is a Hollywood movies with 3D computer animate graphics.This is the third movie in this series of the films.This movie has been produced by the famous pixar animation studious and it has been released by the Walt Disney pictures.the director of this film movie is lee Unkrich who was also associated with the previous two movies of the series.He was the editor of toy story 2 and co director of toy story 1.

                          The voices used in this movie are of  Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, John Ratzenberger, Wallace Shawn, Jeff Pidgeon, Jodi Benson, R. Lee Ermey, John Morris, and Laurie Metcalf.They are giving voices to the character for which they have already given in previous installment of the film.This movie has broken the record set by the movie shrek the third as the largest grosser on the first day for animated movies.It has also got the achievement of the highest grosser movie in its first weekend in the month of June.

 In this last installment of the Film Andy who is now 17 years old went to college and leaves his whole toy box community back.They were accidentally given to the sunny side daycare center from where they have to figure out their  great escape back to the home.
