Rpg Metanoia: A Must-See Excellent Movie That Breaks New Grounds in Animation And Video Game Cinema
Nico and his friends are skillful and avid players of the MMORPG Game known as Metanoia. But although Nico is very much courageously heroic in his virtual universe, in real life he is awfully clumsy and not much the physical type of kid. Eventually, he learns that he should also enjoy a kid’s life, away from video games. But when new online villains turn out to be destructive computer viruses, Nico and his friends log in back to the world of Metanoia and stop the destruction of the virus by vanquishing these foes in online battle.
There had been already many animated Pinoy movies that have come out over the years, but almost all of them are in traditional animation. RPG METANOIA, on the other hand, is the first fully CGI animated movie, and for something that is new to local cinema, it is more than impressive. Of course, you cannot compare it to movies done by Pixar films, but if you do, the difference is only so little. Maybe a mere two or three levels apart from Pixar standards.
If ever you’re one of those stubborn people that will indeed compare it to Pixar movies, you’d probably say that the animation lacks some fluidity at first, and some of the dialogues looked out of sync. But after the first fifteen minutes of the movie, you get used to it, and in your mind, it’s as fluid as life itself. You gradually ignore the little flaws and the little “imperfections” because the story and the characters are engaging and real; they never feel “artificial”
All the pessimistic impressions of the movie have been countered with what is truly a movie that is not only decent and satisfactory, but truly impressive. One of the pessimistic impressions that were shared by many when the trailer was released was that this was merely jumping the bandwagon of RPG gaming and 3D animation. But when you watch the movie itself, you will find that this really was an earnest depiction of online gaming.
Many critics often have this belief that there are no good video game movies (even though Resident Evil movies have been successful commercially, they are thought of as really badly made movies). RPG: METANOIA is not based on an existing video game, but I now think of it as the best video game movie I have ever seen. It is one video game movie that really does mirror, interpret, and captures the essence of MMORPG gaming; from the designs of how the virtual universe of the game looks like, to the character designs, up to how the players are able to play their game (spell casting, creature summoning). In a manner of speaking, this is an adaptation of MMORPG gaming in general.
There is a serious level of detail that is injected in the movie. Unlike previous Pinoy-made animated movie attempts, this one ventures to be so much more intricate and detailed. From the spoofed brands, to the (Star Trek) Starship Enterprise model in one character’s room, to the VLC player program icon which is among the icons in one character’s PC wallpaper. All these details that spice up the characterization aspect of the movie. This film is bent on really creating a movie that wants to breathe in cinematic life rather than the cardboard attempts to merely jump on a trend.
There are also other details that nicely reflect very Filipino elements. The pinakbet and milkfish for dinner, and the chorizo with egg and rice for breakfast; and then there’s the highlighted object in the movie which is the “Evil” Mask that is obviously based on the mask used during the Moriones Festival. The fighting style of the main character Nico is itself an unannounced reflection of the fact (or popularized myth?) that early Filipinos used yo-yos as weapons.
The fighting was also impressive. It was able to utilize some manner of imagination or inventiveness in creating the sequences. There is even one action sequence where the heroes figured out how to escape their predicament because one of the characters applied his skill in sudoku. In addition, what is remarkable about the movie is that it even attempts to inject some scientific sense in how the (villainous) virus was created or how it works. It is in moments like these when you realize that this was a movie that there was really some real conscious effort to really make this movie more than impressive.
It’s also nice that the story actually gets to talk about the virtue that kids should learn to enjoy (traditional) outdoor games to at least balance out their love for online gaming. I was initially afraid that this movie was going to an end that glorifies gaming too much. But instead of being something that promotes video games; this one is more of a movie that depicts the feverish hobby of online gaming, and the aspect that kids should not rely on gaming too much.
All in all, RPG METANOIA is an excellently-crafted video game movie and a really nice family movie as well. High points on the graphics, high points on the story, the voice acting, the direction, the script, and even on the concept itself. I would not be surprised if this movie would end up dubbed in English and repackaged in the international market, and gain international fame. It is a great family movie that should not be missed. For me, this already is the Best Picture to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
Rationality Versus Irrationality in The Movie “agora”
After I saw the movie Agora http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1186830/ I felt that, while I enjoyed the movie, it would a movie that I would quickly forget. Since then however, I have started to see more to it. I think this movie needs a second look.
The Story
Agora is the story of the pagan Greek philosopher Hypatia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypatia) and the events that led to her death at the hands of Christian fanatics in Alexandria Egypt in 415.
The first part begins with Hypatia as she teaches some of her students, several of who are important later in the story. The first part of the story ends with the destruction of the Library of Alexandria by the Christians.
The second part of the story happens years later, after the Christians have become dominant. The second part is about how Hypatia becomes involved with the political conflicts that lead to her murder.
Scientific Inaccuracies
The movie has Hypatia use experimental science 1,200 years before Francis Bacon first articulated the concept. She proposes the sun centered universe 1,100 years before Copernicus and the elliptical nature of the planetary orbits 1,400 years before Kepler.
With my background in science, I am usually a stickler for accuracy, but I can see that the moviemakers introduced these inaccuracies to support the theme of the story. While it is set in the world of 400 A.D., the message of the movie is for the people of the modern world.
The actual contributions of Hypatia would not resonate with modern audiences. The use of scientific discoveries that most audiences would be familiar with will help them see her as someone of great intellect.
Historical Inaccuracies
Several reviews I read about the movie criticised the movie for historical inaccuracies. My knowledge of the history of this period is not as good as my knowledge of science, so I didn’t notice this while I watched the movie.
One example is the destruction of the Library of Alexandria. The movie seems to have it all happen in one day. In reality, the destruction happened over a period of hundreds of years from the conquest of Julius Caesar in 48 BC to the Muslim conquest in 642. One comment I read said that if you pay close attention to the movie that it makes clear that this was only one episode in a longer story of loss. I don’t remember this.
The movie has Hypatia’s religious beliefs as the motive the murder, while it appears that the primary reason was her political positions.
These changes make a more compelling story with the events put into a tighter time frame. I am not sure I would have made the same changes, but then my intent would have been different.
Non-Sensationalized Violence
Moviemakers are often criticised when they sensationalize reality for dramatic effect. This movie actually tones down the details of Hypatia’s murder. While the various sources do not agree with each other, the earliest source, Socrates Scholasticus, reports that while still alive her murders cut the skin and flesh from her bones, then set her on fire. The murder scene in the movie is not nearly so gruesome.
I think the moviemakers made this change to be symbolic of how history has come to view Hypatia. She has come to represent the Greek philosophers that the Christians of the time rejected. Centuries later, Christians came to accept and admire those same philosophers.
Davus the Slave
Davus is a slave of Hypatia and after she frees him, he joins the Christian group that later is responsible for her murder. After I saw the movie, I wondered if Davus and not Hypatia is the protagonist of the story. Other reviews I read say that Davus is the only main character not based on a real person. The moviemakers intend him to be the eyes of the audience.
Through the course of the story, Davus deals with internal conflicts over his feelings for and about Hypatia. In the first part of the story, Davus feels both lust for her body and respect for her intellect. Later, her kind consideration for him after her father whipped him, creates a more complex relationship. By the end of the first part of the story, he has joined the Christians against the pagans.
In the second part of the story, Davus has become an active member of a group of fanatical Christians. Several times he and Hypatia see each other in the streets, but while Hypatia seems to look at him, Davus chooses to avoid her. Since we know that the Christians will eventually murder Hypatia, much of the dramatic tension is over what role Davus will play in her death.
Orestes the Prefect
In first part of the story, Orestes is a pagan and a student of Hypatia. In the second part, he has become a Christian and the Prefect of Alexandria, the civil authority of the city. Orestes development has some parallels to that of Davus. In contrast, though, his conversion to Christianity seems to be more for political convenience than from a deep felt change in his beliefs.
What is the Message of the Movie?
Some people have characterised the movie as anti-Christian or anti-Catholic. The director reportedly said that the message of the movie is anti-fundamentalist.
I feel that the movie promotes rationality over fanaticism. Hypatia is the symbol of the scientific and rational approach to life. In contrast, the Christians symbolize the anti-scientific and irrational. Some characters, most notably Davus, struggle with the conflict within themselves.
While the Christians symbolise the opposition to science and rationality in the movie, they represent groups in the modern world. Whether Christian or non-Christian, these groups are a threat to science and rationality. It is these groups that the target of the moviemakers.
The movie also shows the struggle between the rational and irrational as an internal struggle that everyone must face in their life. In this view, Hypatia and the radical Christians represent two aspects of our own personalities.
Other Reviews
Before I wrote this review, I read several other reviews of the movie. Here are a couple of reviews that I recommend.

Is Iron Man The Greatest Superhero Movie Ever!!!
Iron Man appeals to me as one of the best superhero movies even to this very date. What’s there not to love about this movie it has it all, the casting, the story line, and the humor that makes it that much more wildly entertaining. I also love how many lines Robert Downey Jr’s character Tony Stark had, they all had tons of sarcasm but yet they were mildly entertaining. I also found it quite interesting that they had a very small but serious subtext to the movie’s story line and it happens in the opening minutes of the movie, already the movie gets interesting and fun and it wasn’t in the middle of the movie before it got to this point like all the other movies. The playboy smooth talking jerk, alcoholic, rich weapons creator that is his character Tony Stark, flies to Afghanistan to discuss Stark Industries’ (his own company) brand new weapon with the military. Many things happen rather quickly and sees just what his weapons or inventions do to people.
Iron Man has all of the elements that make this film great but it’s truly the acting cast that makes up for the success of this movie. Robert Downey Jr. not only brings his real life persona to his role but presents us with a stunning and funny aura of his character Tony Stark but resembles him down to the touch. Jeff Bridges does a wonderful job acting in this movie that he complements Robert Downey Jr. quite well, he also plays a decent villain that’s quite versatile in the sense that he’s not just this broad one dimensional character like all the other movies. Terrence Howard does a decent job in his role as a military specialist and Tony Stark’s former college buddy and best friend. Gwyneth Paltrow does a wonderful job in her role as well and only adds to the already stellar cast. She fits her role as John Stark’s sexy and wise assistant so wonderfully and has met her match in the man they call “Tony Stark.” All of the interactions and or relationships mesh so well that it’s the real highlights of the movie altogether. If this movie’s cast wasn’t what it is right now than this movie for sure would be deemed a terrible movie and it might have been a box office disaster.
The writing was absolutely superb, they stayed true to the story line throughout movie and didn’t make any adjustments or revisions to the script, this usually never happens with movies. I found it quite fun and entertaining that Tony Stark goes through a transformation from his business oriented mind to an individual looking to save the world from chaos while sticking to his personality which is his bravado, humor, and his integrity. All of John Stark’s dialogues or one liners were dead on, clever and comedic. The Iron Man movie serves as an introduction and the life of Robert Downey Jr’s character Tony Stark from a man to superhero. There were more than a fair share of action scenes that made this movie an enjoyable experience.
Jon Favreau has certainly convinced to everyone that he is here to stay and direct movie’s through his great filmography, as an actor and as a director he’s shown that he can be versatile. Filming a movie like Iron Man is certainly no easy task, Jon Favreau rises above and beyond in directing this movie with such brilliance. I liked how their gave the viewers a look as to how much detail was given to building Iron Man’s suit. Overall I loved this movie it really surprised me to say the least and that I can’t wait for the release of Iron Man 2. This movie is indeed a must watch movie, it gets two thumbs up by me for the movies shear genius. I truly appreciate the individuals that have taken time out of their day to read this review I am certainly thankful for that.
Twilight the Movie: A Huge Dissapointment to True Twilight Fans
Let me just start off by saying that I am an absolute huge fan of the Twilight books which I have read multiple times already. I only wish that I could say that I’m a huge fan of the Twilight movie as well. Sadly, this is not the case as the Twilight movie was a huge let down. There are a number of factors that made Twilight such a bad movie. The screenplay was close to what was written in the Twilight book however a lot of important scenes from the book were not included in the Twilight movie and were instead replaced with very stupid scenes made up by the screenwriter (such as Bella’s Science class field trip). The “Meadow” scene in the movie was very off key. This should have been one of the most important scenes in the movie however this too was ruined. The meadow scene was too short and lacked the potential for viewers to truly feel the chemistry and affection between the two main characters. Also during the movie version of the meadow scene Edward had too much anger being portrayed especially when he shows Bella his skin in the sunlight for the first time since this was something he seemed happy to be finally showing her in the book. Along with this there were a number of scenes in the Twilight movie that were very out of place. An example of this is during part of the meadow scene where Bella Swan realizes that Edward Cullen is a Vampire. This should have been part of the conversation between the two on the way home from Port Angeles, and placing it right before the meadow scene dampened the feel that the meadow scene should have portrayed to viewers. Bad film editing as well as directing could also play a factor in the awfulness of this movie as some scenes seemed to be cut at strange places.
The Twilight movie did not hold a candle to the Twilight book. The movie showed very poor character and relationship development. Poor character and relationship development resulted from so many of the scenes being cut too short. The relationship between Bella Swan and Edward Cullen in the movie lacked intensity, and if one had not read the Twilight book they would not realize the capacity of the friendship that had began to build between Bella and Alice near the end of the book. I strongly feel that both of these two relationships should have been expressed better during the movie and this could have been done by cutting out the unnecessary scenes that were added as fillers and by even making the movie at least a mere 20 minutes longer.
Along with bad screenwriting, the Twilight movie was also brimming with bad acting. Most of the “humans” in this movie were awful making me feel as if I was watching a made for tv movie on a tween network station. The “vampires” were a little more bearable but still not spectacular. Robert Pattinson’s accent slipped through a couple of times which was not acceptable. Those scenes should have been redone to remove the accent. Kristen Stewart had her mouth open showing her upper teeth through the whole movie which was very annoying and distracting. This is also a result of bad directing as the director should have caught these mistakes and corrected them.
As I have said the Twilight movie did not hold a candle to the Twilight book. I feel very ripped off by this movie as it could have very easily been a much better movie if not for the major flaws listed above. As I stated earlier I am a huge fan of the Twilight series and can only hope that the creators of the future Twilight movies (New moon and Eclipse) will consider the feedback received from Twilight and make appropriate changes to assure the next movies in the Twilight series are worth viewing.
New Moon Midnight Madness Movie Review
Millions of movie goers across the country have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of New Moon the next movie in the Twilight series. Since the release of the first Twilight movie the world has been taken over by team Edward and Team Jacob
Escaping the Twilight madness is near impossible. Somehow I managed to escape it for over a year, seeing Twilight for the first time in August. I tried to resist the temptation to become completely obsessed but soon found myself counting down the days to the Twilight New Moon movie premier. Before I knew what happened I was buying my midnight premiere tickets and counting down the days.
What the critics are saying: Other New Moon Reviews
The first Twilight movie was despised by most critics. After Twilight became such a success the critics were surprised and some were even irritated. Keeping in mind that the critics hated Twilight and I loved it, I decided to check out what the critic reviews of New Moon a few hours before going to the movie. Not surprisingly, the critics are still holding a grudge and were set out to keep away as many people as possible. Overall the critic consensus was that New Moon deserved no more than 3 out of 10 stars. The few critics who were merciful towards New Moon offered only half compliments, saying things like
” If you’re a romantic at heart who doesn’t mind shelling out to watch a couple of adolescent boy hotties strut their stuff, you might as well just go and enjoy the eye candy. ‘Cause it’s kind of worth it” (David Foucher)
The reviews left me more anxious than ever to see New Moon, I wanted the opportunity to be my own critic. Besides they disliked Twilight and based on their reviews I decided not to see that movie for over a year, clearly I missed out.
Midnight Showing of New Moon: The Ultimate Twihard Experience
Upon arriving at the theater for the midnight showing of New Moon we discovered a parking lot packed full. We ended up having to use our four wheel drive to park in a nearby desert. I have been to many midnight premieres, Pirates of the Carribean, Harry Potter, Star Trek, and many more. I have never seen a turnout like I there was for the New Moon premiere. Once we found a parking space we walked up to a movie theater with hundreds of people waiting in lines outside and who knows how many more people crammed inside. Once inside the workers were turning people away. There were 14 screens playing new moon, in a 14 screen theater. Every seat, every single one was bought and paid for. The line for the concession stand was theme park long. In the lobby the twihard’s were a little pushy, everyone was a little tense, months of anticipation were built up and people were a little antsy to say the least. Once at the ticket taker, everyone was basically told to go where they could find a seat. This meant people were weaving in and out, back and forth, up and down, frantically scattering like cockroaches in a lit room, trying to find the best seat, or even just a seat. Miraculously we found four seats together, three of us left to get food and one person stayed behind. Twihards attacked for the three saved seats but ultimately they lost. There must have been over a 1,000 Twihards with Twihard t-shirts, and numerous more look-alikes. I must admit the crowds of people, and the pure energy in the theater made me even more excited to see the film (albeit a little claustrophobic).
Here It Is: The New Moon Review
After so much anticipation, you always wonder if the movie can hold up to your year long anticipation. New Moon, absolutely 100 percent lived up to my expectations. I left the theater wanting more, which is in my opinion a good thing. Since this review is not going to have any spoilers the following will be said as carefully as I can.
Was New Moon Visually Stunning?
Absolutely! In Twilight, there were scenes in the tree tops and the movie locations were amazing. In New Moon you won’t see a lot of tree top footage (it’s better that they didn’t just revamp the old techniques anyway). Instead the tree top scenes were replaced with beautiful forest scenes, and amazing digital effects, including the werewolf scenes. The cuts were clean throughout the movie, and the overall camera quality seemed to be a little better than last time.
Did the New Moon script do justice to Stephanie Meyers amazing book?
I personally have not read the twilight series (it’s on my list of things to do) However my friend has read the entire series. According to my friend the film did a pretty decent job portraying what happened in the book. There was one part in particular that she said they really should have included more dialogue from the book. Other than that though, she compared New Moon to Twilight in its accuracy of reporting what happened in the book. My opinion on the whole book vs movie debate is that, if you want 700 pages of detail read the book. There story flowed well, and it seemed as though all of the critical elements were in the movie. New Moon was cohesive and followed up Twilight well (there were really no story gaps).
Team Jacob vs Team Edward
Ah yes, the twihard debate of the century, who deserves to win the heart of Bella. In New Moon there is a victor, at least for now. Without giving any spoilers I will just say that all the Twilight Fans will find a decent amount of Jacob and Edward scenes throughout the movie in which both boys get to show off their abilities, and bodies (perhaps their kissing abilities too, but my lips are sealed) May the best man win.
Who will enjoy the New Moon movie
You, your parents, your grandma, your great grandma, older siblings. One thing that really appealed to me about New Moon as opposed to Twilight (although I love them both) was that the New Moon movie seemed to be geared towards a little older crowd. With Twilight there was some complaints that the high school scenes and what not made the movie geared toward the teen, pre-teen crows. Anyone who had this complaint with Twilight will probably be pleased to find that New Moon was geared to a much older crowd, although stil remained safe for the younger twi hards as well.
And then it was over…
At the close of the movie people cheered, a few people cried, but mostly, the energy level stayed through the roof despite it being the middle of the night. The movie closes rather abruptly, this leaves you wanting more. There is always a certain amount of mystery, things that go unsaid, in the New Moon and Twilight, its part of the mystery that is Edward and Bella, the abrupt ending plays right into the mystery. This is deffinetely a movie you will find yourself talking about for days, weeks, months, or years? (for those really hardcore twihards)
New Moon Review Conclusion
Overall I would give New Moon a 9.5 out of 10. I would highly recommend it to everyone. If you didn’t like Twilight you will still probably like New Moon, it has just enough of a twist, and change in story style to please some of you who never really understood us Twihards. Also, this movie is date friendly, and overall guy friendly. Everyone man that was at the midnight showing of New Moon last night was as pleased with the movie as all of the women. I took my husband and he loved it! Don’t miss out on seeing New Moon in theaters now.
Should the Oscars honor movie producers too?
It is a pity that while we confer a gold medal to a student for securing a rank in the university exam and even hail the role of a teacher for being devoted in his profession, we mostly fail to recognise and honor the role of parents, who have been providing the moral as well as the material support to their son, apart from providing the genetic influence also in his character.
Similarly,as far as Oscar is concerned, history is replete with records for having neglected the yeomen service rendered by the producers for playing a vital role in the production of classic movies like Ten Commandments’ and The Right and the Wrong’ many years ago, Jurassic Park’ and the Spiderman’ etc in the recent past and in the case of even the latest Slumdog Millionaire’, we have shown only scant respect to the producers. They have never been nominated or conferred with any Oscar award.
When we consider the case of Slumdog Millionaire’, it has been nominated for Oscar awards in seven categories, including the best direction and best original score in music etc.The producer is said to have invested 15 million dollars considered as a low budget as far as a hollywood movie was concerned. However the role of the producer of the movie can by no means underestimated, because they have taken a heavy risk in investing such a huge sum for the following reasons:-
1)Though the movie is a hollywood movie, the story of the movie is based on a novel in the Indian background written by an IAS officer from India.
2)Only Anil Kapoor and another actor are the known faces in the movie. All other main charcters including the child artists are new faces, carefully chosen over a period of years by the director.
3)The entire episodes of the story occur in India, especially in the slum areas of Mumbai.
4)The movie was directed by a British director.
5)The Indian music director A.R.Rahman was entrusted with the responsibility of scoring music for the movie.
The producer of the movie has infact taken a great risk, in entrusting with the responsibility of directing the movie to the British director in the Indian backdrop. But both the director and the music director have done creditably well to the extent of securing as many as seven Oscar nominations for the movie. But for the great risk taken by the producer, we would not have had such a great movie and Oscar nominations.Already the Slumdog Millionaire’has bagged a number a golden global awards, which are considered as virtual stepping stones in winning Oscar nominations.
A producer should be honored with Oscars for the following reasons:
1)In countries like India the entertainment movie of a year’ is conferred with a golden lotus award and it befittingly goes to the producer; In the same way Oscar should honor the producers of the best movies;after all it is their money that goes to and results in the production of the movie. The
travails of the producer in mobilising the funds for the movie should be duly recognised and honored.
2)Some people are of the view that the role of the producer is purely commercial and profit oriented. Therefore, they ask, why the producer should be conferred with an Oscar? But we conveniently forget about the great risk factor involved in the production of a movie. If a movie bombs in the box office, the producer will be virtually become a debtor, sometime literally comes to the street.
3)When we compare the role of a director of a movie to that of a captain of a ship who safely sails the ship to its destination, it is the producer who purchases the ship, it is he who choose the correct person and entrust to him with the responsibility of sailing it to its safe destination.
Therefore, the Oscar should honor and nominate a producer of a movie for Oscar, for his multifarious roles in the production of a movie;in mobilising and investing the funds involving elements of risk; choosing the correct person at the helm of affairs for directing the movie;providing all helps in the production and post production of his movie;allowing complete freedom to the director to choose his own team for the production of the movie believing in his ability; but doing all these things from the backfront.

IS The Losers Movie A Hit OR Miss? Find Out Here!
The Losersmovie starts out with a special CIA squad, there sent on a mission to Bolivia, it entails them having to dispatch or kill a serious enemy. Many interesting things happen in a matter of no time when they spot children enter their targeting zones. After they finally save the children, they have those kids board their helicopter as they await for further confirmation on the next location. Unfortunately, a couple of horrible things take place, the children in the helicopter are killed when the aircraft gets targeted down by a missile, it was probably meant to be that way. This special CIA squad tries to get back to the US, so that they can finally live the lives they were so accustomed to and to seek out their revenge on the person who planned this whole terrible ordeal.
The Losers movie is strictly based on the comic book series. It’s a comic book series that only released a couple of issues and one I haven’t really heard all that much about until I saw the film, I would not doubt reading their comic books either. This movie is an action film that includes a lot of comedic moments and or jokes as well as a lot of absurdity. As a viewer you can’t take many of the things that occur in the movie all that seriously and this movie knows this too, it even mocks itself at times.
The leader of The Losers gang is a guy named Clay (played by Jeffery Dean Morgan) he’s basically known as the guy that dresses up in suits but doesn’t address it with a tie. The second leader in command named Roque (played by Idris Elba) and a little bit of a hot tempered individual. Chris Evans plays a guy named Jensen who’s in charge of all of the technical side of things and also brings a little bit of the comic relief aspect of the movie. Every one of the characters in this action flick have a specific and different aura to their characters, they are all rebels but can also be a little bit of a smart-@#$ if you know what I mean. Clay the leader of the pack is by no means an angel because of the temper and trouble he brings through his character, who only wants to do something positive and than you’ll have the character who doesn’t say much but is the hardcore assassin of the gang.
I certainly thought that this movie would have a lot more action than it did, it did not excite me in anyway as opposed to other movies I’ve seen. However some of the action sequences were somewhat exciting and did make up for some of the action scenes, in the sense that all of the characters had certain physical traits and how they used them in the movie. Chris Evans did a couple of things in the movie that was a little strange, his character had a lot of action which I didn’t really expect at first, although he played the technical geek character. What I liked about The Losers movie is that it doesn’t it doesn’t in anyway try to do something outrageous like other movies, it’s done in a way that I’ll entertain those that watch this film.
This movie does have a couple of plot twists and turns that I didn’t really like all that much. Well it did make sense, but unfortunately it just didn’t do it for me I would’ve wanted it to have a different outcome. I was against the idea of having the whole dynamic group changed. It really disappointed me in that sense, but I certainly realize the same things happen in comic books as well. There were certain times where music played a strange role in the movie, like when one of Journey’s songs were played in a particular scene and it was certainly the most memorable of parts in the movie. I guess at that point in the movie they added that scene to show that this film isn’t only an action movie but a film made for those to laugh as well. Although this movie has taken it’s fair share of movie bashing by the critics, I did however enjoy this movie. It’s certainly a movie that’s beyond perfect movie because of the many questionable tactics displayed in the film. Several of the comedic moments weren’t done particularly well, the action sequences weren’t all that suspenseful, and that the main villain of the movie was particularly strange and not all that much of a good one either. This movie The Losers will not bring big numbers to the box office but I would still recommend this movie to those that like action and or comedy movie’s because in it’s own way it’s a fairly decent film worth watching for the eight bucks it costs to watch it.
